Camille Sonnier is from the small town of Lacassine, Louisiana where she grew up showing and raising dairy cattle. As a senior at Lacassine High School, Camille loves staying busy. She is involved in Beta Club, 4-H, FBLA, Student Council, and the French Club. Outside of school, she enjoys spending her Thursday evenings dancing at Rosie’s Dance Center. In addition to these responsibilities, she has been an active FFA member for the past three years. While being a member of the Lacassine FFA Chapter, Camille has competed in Livestock Judging, Geaux Teach, Gulf of Mexico Speaking, Meat Identification, and Creed Speaking. Camille is currently serving as her chapter’s President and had the honor to serve as the 2022 - 2023 Area lll Treasurer. She hopes to continue her education at Louisiana State University by majoring in Agricultural Business with aspirations of one day becoming an ag teacher. Camille Sonnier is proud to serve as our 2023 - 2024 State President!
