Ellie Thames is from the small town of Mangham, Louisiana where she grew up on her family farm. Ellie will be a senior at Mangham High School this year. Throughout her years of high school she has been an active member and officer for many clubs such as BETA, Spanish Club, 4-H, National Honor Society, and FFA. Along with her participation in these clubs she found her love for horses at a young age and has been team roping since second grade. She has taken on many different leadership positions in FFA such as Chapter Vice President, Chapter President, and Area I Vice President. Throughout her years of being an FFA member she has competed and found success in the Vet Science and Agronomy CDEs, Employment Skills LDE,  and showing broiler chickens. After high school she plans on attending Louisiana Tech to major in pre-veterinary medicine. Ellie Thames is proud to be serving as our 2023 - 2024 State Vice President!
